HerStory: Stacy Cashmore

She embraced agile methods before she knew of the agile movement when handed a chance to lead a project and wanted quick feedback asked the customer for a fortnightly meeting to show what had been done, and to make any course corrections. That project was such a success that since then it’s how she has wanted to work! And she’s been practicing ever since.

2 years ago, she started giving talks at conferences. This happened after a panic attack at Techorama NL 2018 lead to a suggestion of submitting for Swetugg in Sweden. And then totally unexpectedly getting selected! Time to put those agile skills to the test to get the talk planned, written and practiced.

Terrified of flying, people and the spotlight she was even more surprised after arriving in Stockholm and giving the talk to get so much energy from it!
